Vince has served as a court-appointed mediator and a commercial arbitrator for a number of years. He was in the first group of private attorneys to be selected for the District of New Jersey’s pilot mediation program, and he has mediated a number of commercial and environmental disputes. He has mediated some two dozen cases through the New Jersey court-annexed mediation program. For a number of years, he served on the Mercer County Fee Arbitration panel, hearing and resolving disputes between attorneys and their clients. He currently serves on the civil arbitration panel of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County, and as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. As an AAA arbitrator, he has arbitrated commercial disputes, contract disputes, and business ownership disputes.

The New Jersey Supreme Court appointed Vince to its Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct (ACJC) in 2013. In that capacity, Vince has reviewed investigations into complaints of misconduct involving state court judges and, when warranted, participates in hearings with the other ACJC members to resolve those charges.

He has extensive experience in serving as a neutral on a wide array of matters, and he has written several articles on how arbitration can be used most effectively.
